Broad Ripple Duck Race

It may not be the Indy 500, but it’s just as exciting to see which lucky duck takes the checkered flag. Join us this year on Sunday, June 26 for the Broad Ripple Duck Race, sponsored by David Electric.
FREE children’s activities will be set up on the Rainbow Bridge overlooking the Broad Ripple Canal on Guilford Avenue north of Westfield Boulevard for families to enjoy from 3:00 to 5:00pm. Promptly at 4:30, three thousand rubber ducks will enter the water at the Hope Plumbing Start Line where the Monon trail crosses the Central Canal. The ducks race west down the canal towards the Broad Ripple Realty Finish Line located by the pedestrian bridge near College Avenue.
Proceeds support BRVA programs and projects focused on enriching the community, attracting investment, amplifying public spaces, and improving quality of life in Broad Ripple.
