Let’s Go Fly a Kite!

Get your kite’s in the air for this free community event in Celebration Plaza at White River State Park. There will be plenty of space to get your own kite in the air or you can build your own with our DIY Kite kits while supplies last.

Grab a bite to eat from The Garnacha Spot and Sweet Valley Ice Cream. Yard games will also be out for the whole family to enjoy. There will also be a chance to connect with the Irsay Family YMCA at Cityway and the Indianapolis Public Library to learn more about their summer programming.

Located on the White River in downtown Indianapolis, the White River State Park urban campus is home to the Indiana State Museum, Indianapolis Zoo, Eiteljorg Museum, NCAA Hall of Champions, Victory Field, and Everwise Amphitheater. It is also connected by the White River Greenway and Indianapolis Cultural Trail.
