Quill Stitch Workshop

Learn about Artist in Residence, Monica Raphael’s (Anishinaabe – Sičáŋğu Lakota) process, culture, and her work in quill stitching & beadwork during this workshop where you will be creating your own quill stitch sampler. The materials will also be labeled in her Native language so you will be able to learn some of the language as you create.

All materials will be provided and no experience is necessary. This project will be detail-oriented and best for ages 12+.

 The Eiteljorg’s artist in residence program brings Native and Western artists from across North America to the museum and to classrooms, libraries and senior centers in the local community. Visiting artists provide a mix of small onsite and virtual online offerings.
