Indianapolis North Levee System Accredited

The Indianapolis North Levee System, stretching for 3.85 miles and under construction from 2004-2019, received final accreditation by FEMA in 2023. The levee removes 2,134 buildings worth about $1 billion in value from the floodplain in the Warfleigh, Broad Ripple, and Butler Tarkington areas.
