Our Vision
The collective efforts of Central Indiana are focused on the health and vibrancy of the river and the communities it connects. That means building economic strength alongside ecological restoration. Creating meaningful partnerships across boundaries. Ensuring access for all. And always making sure the river’s waters reflect a bright future. From investment in new parks to programs to preserve affordable housing, dozens of projects have been announced and completed since the White River Vision Plan was released in 2020.
Healthy River. Healthy Community.
White River is a beautiful, diverse ecosystem—but there’s still great potential to make its waters and shores healthier and more inviting. Learn about White River’s water quality, current clean-up efforts, development, ecology, and the people and organizations working together to make it a great place to experience.
