Join Amos Butler Audubon Society members and Holliday Park Staff on a monthly morning bird hike. Hikes are open to the public. Beginning birders welcome! Bring a pair of binoculars if you have them. Dress for the weather. Please meet in the Nature Center parking lot.
Nature is the perfect teacher for your homeschool children. This month will be creek exploration with Indy Parks – come prepared to spend most of class outside and wear clothes/shoes that can get wet or muddy. Ages 5-12 along with their adult caregiver. Tagalong siblings are welcomed.

Holliday Park has streams and a river teeming with wildlife. Participants will have loads of fun getting wet and muddy exploring the creatures that live in these wet places. A naturalist will help you identify what you find. Nets and collecting tubs provided. Wear old shoes and clothes that can get dirty.

At Broad Ripple Park, you will be making a variety of bird feeders as well as decorating a birdhouse to take home with you. At least one of the bird feeders will be using peanut butter. Prior arrangements can be made if you have allergies.
