Shopping, restaurants, and nightlife
Most of the shopping and eating destinations are a 10-15 minute walk (or a few minutes on Pacers Bike Share or scooters) east of the river, where you’ll find the region’s greatest concentration of both local and chain restaurants and pockets of retail shopping opportunities and nightlife. On the east side of downtown, along the Indianapolis Cultural Trail you’ll find local hotspots Mass Ave and Fountain Square.
