Virginia B. Fairbanks Art & Nature Park

Free park on the river at Newfields

A free riverfront park that is part of the Newfields campus, the Virginia B. Fairbanks Art & Nature Park, is the perfect place to enjoy art and nature simultaneously. Site-specific contemporary art lines trails through floodplain forests and Indy’s largest native pollinator meadow that wrap around a 35 acre lake. The Central Canal Towpath trail connects within the park as well.
